Preparation for the Speech-Language Pathology M.Sc. Program
Coursework Expected
Successful applicants to the Speech-Language Pathology M.Sc. Program come from a wide variety of undergraduate backgrounds, and hold either a B.A. or B.Sc. degree from an accredited university. Typical majors include linguistics and psychology. It is expected that students have completed the required prerequisite coursework in ten content areas, as well as upper-level coursework in a field fundamental to human communication.
GPA Requirements
The School requires cumulative average of at least B+ (at UBC, 76%) over the last two years of a four-year undergraduate degree, or at least 12 credits in the A- grade range (at UBC 80%) in courses at the 300 level or above.
