Prerequisite Coursework
Prerequisite coursework in six content areas (listed below) should be completed in order to be considered for the Audiology M.Sc. program:

| Sensation and/or Perception | 3 credits |
| Research Methods** | 3 credits |
| Introduction to Linguistics | 3 credits |
| Neuroanatomy for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (AUDI 402) |
3 credits |
*A 3-credit course is equivalent to a one-term course that meets 3 hours per week.
**Must include Research Design not only Statistics.
Verifying Prerequisites
To determine the equivalent courses at your university that fulfill a specific prerequisite:
- Compare your courses with the six course content areas listed (above) in the minimum “Prerequisite Coursework.”
- Check the Audiology Prerequisite Equivalency Chart for equivalent course numbers for your specific university. If your course is not on the chart, you must include a copy of the course syllabus (not the calendar description) with your application.
- Compare course descriptions from courses at your specific university with the UBC Course Descriptions.
