Profile

I have worked as a clinical Speech-Language Pathologist for more than 25 years, in both public and private settings, with children with communication problems, and children and adults who stutter.  I worked in the fluency program at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario for seven years, which is where I developed my interest in stuttering and fluency disorders.  I worked in full-time private practice for many years and returned to the public sector in a management position with Vancouver Coastal Health where I had the privilege to work with and lead an exception team of SLPs.  I am a member of the School’s team of Academic Coordinators of Clinical Education and work with clinicians in the community to arrange practica for our students.
